I pledge allegance to the Flag

SO as I am sitting here and watching the daily news I oncec again get disgusted ....I find that an athiest attorney is taking the Pledge to the flag to court yet once again..and they are going to end up in the 9th circuit court in San. Fran. Cal....now if you don't know the history of the 9th circuit they are not very American friendly...seems to me each case that comes before them that might keep our nation strong always ends in the favor of the opposition...point of example ..lastest injunction against the Dept. of Homeland Security who was stopped from sending no match letters from the SS admin. because they though it would be unfair practice....to those illegals who are using other peoples social security numbers.....gotta love it ...seems to me the people who are supposed to uphold the laws are picking and choosing which ones they like....so back to the pledge...."One Nation Under God" now that is supposed to be unconcstitutional ....well just in case you haven't read the constitution lately ...it mentions God in there too ...so is that the next step we "void" the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and call it a day simply because someone doesn't agree....I am not saying you have to believe in God but as an American you must understand and accept that our founding fathers based this country on the principle of one nation under God.....not under government ..Thomas Jefferson was the one who reminds us that our power comes from our creator not our government and as long as we allow people to attack the idea of the governement has more power then God in our lives then we are lost and we will continue to lose...the fabric that has held this country together for over 200 years is slowly starting to unravel and will continue to unravel unless we as Americans who love our country protect it's founders idea...we have the ability here to honor our own religious choices and I do not ask everyone convert to be a Christian but please respect that I can have my beliefs as well as you can have yours....Christmas used to be such a joyful time these days it has turned into a marketing attack against all christians..and a shitload of lawsuits...and all religions. I don't ask the Jews to hide their beliefs so why should I hide my own? ....better start watching ...slowly they will desolve the very fabric that has held us together that makes us a great nation.

WE THE PEOPLE

So what has happened in politics lately...? not much same bullshit new days.....but as I was busy I have been able to watch the world around me and I was quite shocked to hear about the Dept. of Veterans affairs deciding that they were no longer going to pay for the Flag Folding ceremony to be help at Military funerals any longer.....Lets think about this .....the military ..a very sacred part of our nation who fights without asking why is no longer going to be honered at their own funerals. This has always been a courtesy the military has provided to families without question. Each family is provided with 2 advocates from veterans affairs. One is there to facilitate the military funeral and the other is there to make sure that all military actions are taken with respect. The song TAPS is always played as the flag folding is always done at no cost. The dept. of Veterans affairs decided that because the flag folding talks in referencec to God and other Biblical people that it is no longer going to support such action. They have stated that they will do it at the request of the family but only if the family payed the retired vets (who usually volunteer) because they will no longer cover the cost.....seems like a bunch of shit to me ....guess there is no sacred part of our country that people won't attack and change to meet their own agendas. What's next ...lets see all we have lost ....kids are not required to pledge the flag ...they have a choice.....think about this a generation of kids who don't honor or respect the number of people who have died in order to be able to fly our nations flag....We have become so PC that it doesn't matter anymore... Let everyone else have liberties and screw the American people...Remember ...WE THE PEOPLE..... either stop it or let it happen....

My head hurts !!!

OK as an American by birth and a patriot by choice, I get a headache from all the 2 sided talking one minute we don't want issues in this country then the next we do ... not as people but as politicians. The current politicians are more worried about slamming each other then actually solving problems. I have changed my voter registration just so I can vote in the primary ...Those who live in Kentucky you cannot vote in primary in May if your registered as independent. So I registered as a republican and will vote who I choose to in May. So why are registered voters not allowed to vote if they are independent ? Could be that we have become so wrapped up in a 2 party system that they(the Dem's and rep's) are not interested in really knowing what American thinks. Heaven forbid someone who was an independent actually take votes away from the 2 main parties in the primary. Heaven forbid Americans actually really have a choice on who they want ...where is it in history that establishes we can only have Rep's and Democrats in Primaries......shut down our options that's what it does....as long as we only have those 2 choices then what kind of choice do we really have? Any kind of change that matters ? I doubt it.

Dream Act

I find it amusing that the US senate just doesn't get it.. We (the American people) have made it clear on giving any form of Amnesty to illegal immigrants and yet...they (the Senate) keep pushing....I refer to them as the "children" of the senate due to their inability to understand plain spoken language. How many times...how many phone calls...what exactly will it take to get through to them that as Americans we are doing what they aren't doing....We are trying to protect our land just as our fore fathers tried to do . Lets sit back a minute and take a close look ...what will our US be like in a few years ? add 20 million illegals in the mix and wow is there any room left for the average American , not so much in space but in political value. I am not courting votes so my opinion is honest. I remember the time after Reagan and the last Amnesty vote. Yes I was young but we all see what it has turned into. You give a child a free pass once and they tend to push the boundaries a little more until you forget what you were trying to stop to begin with simply because the acts get worse.
I believe in our Constitution and yet I slowly see that being chipped away as if it doesn't matter anymore. Lets look at examples....seperation of Church and state ..am I a Bible Thumper? not likely ...I haven't been to church in years , but as an American it doesn't offend me to see other practice their religion but what does offend me is that as American Christans we cannot have our religious displays (ie. nativity scenes, ten commandments) in the public eye but yet as Muslims they are entitled to have foot sinks in public places in order to allow them to be able to stay inline with their religious views. Where is the problem.....ok our religion is not allowed to be seen or heard but yet theres has more value to the public? is that what is being said ? Second example ...... God and pledge have been removed from many schools (which pisses me off to no end) but yet many other religions are allowed to get up from classes (which disrupts the learning process) and go take time for prayer....Are we seeing the trend yet? Lets talk about the new school in New york that teaches arabic....no problems yet.. I think it is great to learn new languages...but since this is a public funded school why is it "private" ...why no enrolled children from that community because it is closer to their homes ? Or we have the Jewish school in Florida which has suspended the study of Jewish language simply because they do not feel that they can teach language without religon....our own religon is not allowed in public schools but our governemnts are allowing other religon's to start there own schools on governement funding..... Starting to see the dots get connected ? call me crazy .. but I do believe that is a violation of Church and State........ I am not a hater...just an American asking a simple question...why must we hide who we are and allow others to be visable without fight?

Republican Debate

I as many other Americans, watched the debate tonight and general thought through debate was OK!!! Time to get real guys...We have got to focus on so many issues in this debate it almost seems overwhelming...Where do we start..the Economy..sure we are losing more jobs then are being created ..our high paying jobs are bargaining for new contracts that gives them the chance to "retire" high paid employees and hire lower waged employee's...we are dropping S-chip ..so yet more americans out of insurance..we are being imported over our own job by foreign nationals and Companies who are just to cheap to put America First...and yet the screamers always say ...we don't have enough help here...Go HB-1 visa...you are the American friend...YEAH RIGHT..... We are having foreign policy issues that are going to put us in a serious spot unless we actually get a leader in place who is CAPABLE...not just voted in but extremely capable of doing a great job fast......We are wanting to give illegals citizenship just because they got passed the borders....seems to me we are in let's give America away mode..who is out there protecting US......Oh and let's not forget I spend 2 months of my life applying for every single scholarship I can possibly find hoping I can get enough money for College and we have this grand "dream" of giving Illegals better odds at higher education then we do our own children...WAKE the hell up America ...we are sitting back and watching piece by piece our American dream turn into a nightmare and yet I don't see the masses standing and demanding change.

Immigration

OK ..I know I have skirted around this issue and probably not to hard to know how I feel ,but here I go....I am for Legal Immigration.....illegal immigration pisses me off to no end....and why do I feel this way...ok here goes...for those who don't know me I have worked in the food service industry for the last 20 years..WOW I know a long time.....but I just recently left my job to attend school full time .....During my tenior in restaurants I have seen it all..The last company I worked with was probably the worst but who's to say...they are the ones I worked with for the last 3 years...The things I have seen with my own eyes.....1 employee who was being looked for by the sherriffs dept. (for child support) was suddenly fired and rehired under another name...in a matter of a few hours....the GM and asst's were very much aware of this and was a part of this happening...This restaurant was proably 90% illegals in the kitchen and the bosses knew it. Should one employee be fired they always had another in the wings waiting for a job (this sytem is referred to as the Mexican connection)...When people get on the local or national news and say "hey we didn't know" trust me they aren't telling the truth...the ID cards the illegals use a 2nd grader could pick out as fake...they have a system of pricing ....($50.00 for the least quality and up based on quality)...so back to other things I have seen...employees (hispanic) will go from one store location to another and use different names...and funny the GM knows they are illegal.....and they hide behind a system that is broken.....ok another reason why I am against it....1 girl who worked there who was from Guatamala ....everytime she got pregnant she crossed the border to the USA ....I think at last count she had 4 kids ...funny part she is only 20.....she always comes back to the restaurant and gets a new job under a new name and the managers hire her once again....They act like we are stupid and don't see what is going on....but I am smarter then that...for I was an hourly manager and I had privy to the inside of the office...ok back to our girl.....So after each child she births (that we pay for)....she is using our medical system...she returnd to Guatamala .....best part...when she returns to the USA to give birth to her new child she leaves her other children behind in her home country...ok here is where it gets fun.....All of her kids are now American citizens so guess what they are entitled to our medical cards ....welfare..and foodstamps.....so each time she returns to our country (even though she does not have her kids in the country) SHE GOES AND APPLIES FOR OUR SOCIAL PROGRAMS........think about that for one second...she is here they are there ..and she is getting benefits for them......if 1 person is doing this I assure many others are as well...When I was doing an opening shift at work one day and I saw her paperwork on the desk to be filled out for DFC (dept. of families and children) I was stunned because as I had just talked to her the day before about her kids being with her parents in Guatamala...but yet here on the paper asking for who lives in her household she provides ALL of the kids names...and yes ...event the managers who were above me knew this and YES they did send her paperwork in without question......I was pissed ...I work my ass off in order to provide for my family and as I just found out recently ..should you be american and actually need help ...your screwed.....why do I say that ..well after I left my job to return to school full time I lost my medical benefits...I went down to the local DFC and applied in order to take care of my children...not that we ever use it but better safe then sorry.....and what was my answer..I was approved for a medical card for 7 days....yes you heard me right....7 days........So as an American citizen who should have health coverage from this program I am declined ....but the Hispanic girl who has no rights to these services are getting them on kids who don't even live in our country....God Bless America.....hey you think if I went to mexico and crossed back over illegally I would get the same treatment they do......? I have many other reasons for my dislike of illegal immigration .but for those who say hey they just want better jobs......here is a lesson for you....8 years ago when I was a GM for a national restaurant chain I was hiring cooks in at $11.00-$12.00 an hour for start off...now as an new hire for a cooks position starting pay is around $8.00-$9.00 an hour.....why hire an american when you can hire an illegal who is just happy to have someone give them a job...the part most people don't realise is ..don't ask the managers if the employee is legal or not ...ask the other employee's ......in the restaurant industry we are very relaxed...the hours suck so we in turn bond more then other businesses so yes we know who is legal and who isn't......BUT keep in mind should anyone of our American employees stand up and protest that they have to learn Spanish in order to be able to do their daily jobs they would be considered a problem.....so employees keep there mouths shut out of fear not out of some sense of protection....

OK OK...hot topic here but I have a thought.....I have listened to the information provided by the news agencies and WOW.....I understand the anger passed out through Alabama about the nooses being hung off the tree... I agree those who committed this act definately was committing a hate crime...so I say those kids should have been charged with exactly that ...a HATE crime ...I don't feel that suspension was the right answer....but here is where I start to disagree...The 6 young men who took it upon themselves for whatever reason to beat the white boy unconcious; now to me here is where I stray...I personally believe that at the age of 16 and 17...you know the difference between right and wrong...I have 2 daughters who are at that age and older and trust me they know the difference....so when you commit and act that causes someone to lose conciousness then you are committing an adult crime....and should be charged as such..I don't think the intent was murder but definately more then the "school ground fight" that is potrayed by the NAACP. I truly think we are sending the wrong message to all kids ..take white and black out of the equation ,but simply talk about kids...as parents we are told NO....you cannot discipline your child without the fear of going to jail..How much more are the kids out of control these days......Guns are everywhere....drugs are everywhere...and our kids are getting into more trouble as the days go by and we as parents have to sit back and wait for a crime to be committed by our child before we are allowed to act.....I know the courts are trying to protect "kids safety" but honestly are we any safer now that we as parents have no control.......PS....just for the record should my kids be involved in anything that resembles this .....the cops would definately be throwing me in the klink.......nooses are unhuman and are intended to make people fear....that is a far worse crime for it is a lasting crime...fighting....just stupid....

OH ...

Has anyone noticed the case before the supreme court that is being fought by George Bush and the white house against the state of Texas ? WOW...just think if GW is successful in this venture how many other immigrants who are arrested for violent crimes will be let loose or convictions overturned on appeals or given new trials. Texas forgot to tell the immigrant that he was entitled to counseling from the Mexican Consulate.......Hmmmmm let me think about this for a second....Your in American ...your not a diplomat.....you commit crimes against our people our state and our laws...and your entitled to what ?.......my thinking is you best be happy that we do have an appeal process in the USA or you would have been fried along time ago....Are we truly going to allow the world to dictate to us how we handle criminals on our own soil?...last time I checked we are America...and that itself means we are help responsible for our own laws and our own people ...should we allow the world courts to tell us who we can or cannot or how we can or cannot prosecute people scares me. What's next ?.....maybe there who are out there who think he is entitled to a new trial but considering he confessed .....case closed...flip the switch.

OK....now don't get all excited I am a relaxed person so should typo's show up.....forgiveness is requested....Once I start my rants....not much can stop me so here goes......

I was watching the news over the last few days and the one thing that keeps coming to mind is our security as a nation...WOW we are in the middle of the Presidential election and everyone wants to talk about what they would do ...Where are the people out there in the mass media screaming about current security? I know regular media touches on it briefly, but where are the masses who stood and cried on 9/11 ....I don't expect the media to try to touch on everything that people are doing but ...have people stopped looking over there shoulder ? I worry that as we have open borders in the North and South who as American are we going to scream at should another attack take place....? I worry as we look around our government are they really caring...? I am not accusing the North or South borders for terrorists ...but to me if I was sitting in some hole burried in Pakistan or Afghanistan and my intelligence was telling me hey look they have millions of people crossing over borders unnoticed ....Me I would be thinking ...hey new way to get in and do harm.....Sound crazy ? maybe who knows but why leave it to chance...? I am not going to fight the immigration battle at the juncture , but just for security alone...think up american not sideways.....

My family no longer listens to my opinions and can only give 6 minute speeches in my college course, so I am taking to the web to express my views.
