Painting my nails !

lately I have become obsessed with painting my nails .... not sure why ....

Life !!

OK OK ... so I didn't hold true to keeping up on my blog but I am trying...Salem officially graduated .... check out pics on Facebook ... and Keegan is my project... poor guy I almost feel sorry for him :) ... Still have not unpacked and need to have a yard sale .. anyone have a yard I can borrow ?

OK peeve of the year !! CUTE !! I hate that word ... dogs are cute ... kids are cute (when they are ugly and you dont want to hurt parents feelings) but being called "cute" as an adult female is almost like saying " well you havent broken any mirrors lately" ... am I wrong on this ? Dating has made me come to some serious home truths .. I am not a clingy style person ... I dont like clingy men ... I dont like men who whine.... or stalk .... and I am not sure I will ever get back into a serious relationship .. my independent streak is a mile long and think it is way to much for any normal guy to have to accept ;) ..Trust me guys love it in theory ...but in reality .. "they dont feel needed" ... poor babies ....and I guess my lack of sympathy for their feelings might be a bit cold .. but I am me :) so back to life and off to work I go ... will post more later :)

Restless !!

Good evening all .. and yes I am restless .... Life is changing so fast for me that some days I feel like I am on a out of control merry-go-round ... Salem...going to college .. Storm starting her own life and family and me ... try to remember I spent all these years raising kids to be independent adults ... Thank God for the little guy ... he will keep me busy over the next few years I am sure... I am restless in my own personal life as well ... I want a relationship ... but time does not always allow one ... the new kitty Cujo doesnt quite take care of my needs ... but he is the new man in my life :) .... Work is work ... forever busy and just not enough time in between to really get anything else done ... I have been so busy lately I have not even had time to watch politics .. and trust me .. that is very abnormal in my world ... or even the NBA playoffs .... anyone who knows me will understand .. Sports and Politics are my passion ... So I downsized houses .. hoping that without all the empty bedrooms would make the transition of being minus children easier ... and I am never going to get unpacked or settled .... I am sure a million moms a day are going through the restless syndrome I am feeling from life changes ... do they have a pill to fix it ? :) just joking ... Lord knows they have a pill everything else ....I will try to be more diligent on keeping up with my blog... but we will see !!

Hello all ,

Been a while since I sat down and posted on here ... so here goes ... yes I am still single ... c'est la vie ... I have school on hold for now .. change in work schedule making scheduling my final classes difficult but oh well .... Storm is on her own ... yeah .. Salem is off to college soon .... yeah ... graduation is 19 days away .... yipppeeee .... as for me and Keegan we are just hanging in hangin out and hanging on ... :) not so much looker for my partner these days ... more of a waste of time i think ... not sure i even want to get back into a committed relationship.....went to the shooting range the other day ... 18 out of 20 shoots on target ... not bad for first time ... Obama is still President much to my dismay but mid term elections are coming up soon .... dont forget to vote in the primary in Kentucky on the 19th :) .... downsized my house .. will be unpacking for next 20 years but oh well :) ... other then that ....

AHHH Dating...

OK so now I am officially back on the dating scene..and boy does it suck....I found a couple of guys I really liked but men are scared to date and want anything serious... One guy who I really like seems to want to date other women.. so there is my decision....Do I date him or do I move on...I have been seeing a guy for the last 4 months in a very casual way ... he is scared of committment and afraid he will fall in love with me... so he dumps me daily ... I know sounds insane ... but for some reason even after going out on dates with other guys .. this guy still is the only one who touches my heart. He dumped me again this morning ... makes ya wonder ...

AHHH Summer...

Hello All,

I know I have been lax over the summer with my blog but time to keep up ... so where do I start..I am still single....NEXT ....Favre was traded to the Jets (which cost me a case of beer) and The election just blows chunks right now...Basetball season will start gearing up again so I can really get excited now...baseball still blows and and which ones is the less of 2 evils..Obama or McCain ?

ok one topic at a time ... Dating as a friend told me once dating was like making a fine wine....you have to spit out alot of bad grapes to get to the best ones... in my case I have spit out all of Nappa Valley so far....

Favre ... Brett Brett Brett ....I hope you take the Jets to the Superbowl and just cram it into Green Bay's face... Go Jets !!!
P.S. the bet was Green Bay would bench Brett before they traded him.... stupid am I ...

Obama or McCain ...they both will cost our nation too much in one way or the other... can we have a recount I would rather have some of the other candidates back ;)

Baseball ...BLAH ...I stopped watching after the strike in the 90's so who cares they all suck....I suffer quietly through baseball season...

and I start school next thursday and gearing up for my trip to Paris in March ... YEAH !!!
